Silk: I Am My Beloved’s

This is a fun silk because the Dyed4you Community birthed it together. I shared this image of a silk I’d created on our Dyed4you Ministries Facebook page and below are the pieces everyone shared. From that Father filled it out even more finishing out the new word for the silk called I Am My Beloved’s. I pray that the words ministers to you as well as the video I shared at the bottom with a pair of XL (light) dowel flags made in this style.

  • Sandra: I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.
  • Elaine: Passion
  • Candice: Femininity!
  • Jessica: The colors make me think of love, but I feel like there’s a message here about “God is moving.” Moving in your life, moving in this earth, intimately concerned by your concerns/the concerns of His people.
  • Stephanie: And when I read this, this verse came to mind: Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, (Matthew 6:28-30)
  • Dee: Pursue me, Lord!
  • Melissa: I see a torso with legs in the very middle. I also see an arm that appears to be hanging down on the right side of the torso. It resembles a woman to me. (which to me felt like it tied back in with the “femininity” piece Candice got)
  • Rebecca: Romance, pursued by our King “Come away with me, my beautiful one”
  • Vickie: Intimacy
  • Vicki: Isaiah 26:3 came instantly to mind! Such a lovely piece, and scripture He gave me. “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”

The name of this silk is I Am My Beloved’s. The colors in it are:

  • Cranberry representing no flaw in you (Song 4:7)
  • Pale pink representing precious
  • Golden brown representing beauty for ashes
  • Mahogany representing depth of God’s love and warrior’s heart – praise in the mouth and sword in the hand (Psalm 149:3-7)

The scriptures that go with it are:

  • Song of Solomon 2:16 (MSG) My lover is mine, and I am his. Nightly he strolls in our garden, Delighting in the flowers until dawn breathes its light and night slips away.
  • Matthew 6:28-30 (VOICE) Nor should you worry about clothes. Consider the lilies of the field and how they grow. They do not work or weave or sew, and yet their garments are stunning. Even King Solomon, dressed in his most regal garb, was not as lovely as these lilies. And think about grassy fields—the grasses are here now, but they will be dead by winter. And yet God adorns them so radiantly. How much more will He clothe you, you of little faith, you who have no trust?
  • Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) “You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].

Father, pursue me! Find me worth pursuing. Make chase of me, delight in me. May Your fierce passion and ardent love overtake me and root so deeply in my heart that I would not EVER doubt You or Your intensions toward me. You calling “Come away with me, My beautiful one,” and my heart responds with joy that “I am my Beloved’s and He is mine!”

An article from Calvary Chapel called “Biblical Femininity: God’s Unique Design for Women” is connected to this silk. The article shared that, “God’s Word is full of examples that help us to decipher what godly femininity is” and went on to list several points including scripture and examples of each, but the points themselves were what Father highlighted as being connected to this silk, and He specifically impressed that these are things that apply to all of us as His bride. Here’s what was shared, we are:

  • Loved by God
  • Designed to Beautify, Help & Nurture
  • Called to Faith and Great Purpose
  • Made to Be His Bride
  • God’s Great Purpose

The lyrics from Cory Asbury’s “Where I Belong” are connected to this silk.

Your presence is all I’m longing for here in the secret place
Your nearness is all I’m waiting for here in the quiet place, here in the secret place
My soul waits for you alone | Like the watchmen wait for dawn
Here I’ve finally found the place | Where we’ll meet, Lord, face to face
I’ve finally found where I belong, I’ve finally found where I belong, In Your presence
I’ve finally found where I belong, to be with You, to be with You
I am my Beloved’s and He is mine, so come into Your garden and take delight in me | Take delight in me
Delight in me, Delight in me, Delight in me, Delight in me
Here in Your presence, God, I find my rest | Here in Your presence, God.

{seeing} Seeing you in a white flowing dress – not a bridal gown, more like a light summer dress that is sheer in the golden sunlight – and you are dancing and frolicking among the tall grasses and wild flowers of a lush meadow. The sun is low and warm, casting a fiery glow on everything and a gentle breeze dances with you (it is the Holy Spirit moving around you). He is delighting in you, loving on you, lavishing you with His tender affection.

A “Prophetic Nugget” called “Kisses of My Mouth” from our Dyed4you Ministries blog is connected to this silk.

Song of Solomon 2:4 (AMP) “He has brought me to his banqueting place, And his banner over me is love [waving overhead to protect and comfort me].

I cover you with My love – shielding and cocooning you. Protecting, encouraging, nurturing, and restoring you with My presence and the fervency of My devotion. I nourish you with the sweetest of kisses from My mouth. Pause, beloved, and feel My love overtake you. Nothing have I withheld from you. The depths of My heart for you are incalculable so do not try to measure it, simply receive it as the gift it is. Let it be sustenance to your weary soul.

Watch for My kisses from heaven as I move in your life and the world around you. I AM leaving love notes for you everywhere, simply pay attention and find them. Notice even the most minute details I have aligned to demonstrate My love for you: whether it be in the rainbows and flowers that bring a smile, or the butterfly in a moment you needed to be reminded of beauty; the rainy nights that sooth your soul, or the vibrant sunshine that warms your heart – I AM here and I AM moving. I AM moving all around you, see Me. My heart is on display.

An extension of God’s love is an understanding that God is moving. Moving in your life, moving in this earth, intimately concerned by your concerns, the concerns of His people. When you love someone, the things that matter to them matter to you by extension. God cares about the things that we care about (even as we should care about the things that matter to Him).

It’s been prayed over and anointed with the Scent of Heaven’s Intimate Devotion, which is those pressing in to intimate devotion with the Lord.

The word intimate means “showing complete inter-mixture, compounding, fusion : thoroughly or closely interconnected, interrelated, interwoven” and the word devotion means “ardent love or affection”. Intimate devotion with God is an inter-mixture of yourself with God birthed through a faithful love. What a beautiful picture!

IntimateDevotionThis oil was inspired by a piece of prophetic artwork done by James Nesbit of Prepare the Way Ministries. Here’s his description of the image he created:

I had a request to create an image depicting “Intimate Devotion.” In this prophetic image we see the bride waiting in the secret place, longing to commune with the lover of her soul.

The tree represents who she is described as in Psalm 1:2-3, “His delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

Her path to the meeting place is well worn. The candles representing her much preparation, lighting the path with the Word of the Lord. ”Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105

The King eternal, immortal, invisible, is eager to commune with this hungry heart that is passionately devoted to Him. As she waits she will not be disappointed. She has risen early as the dawn breaks over the day, and while the dew is still on the roses.

The Creator of the Cosmos opens up revelatory treasures to her, and lavishes her with intimate waves of revelation and intimate understanding of His magnificent love.

The voice of her beloved, behold he comes. Opening portals in the heavens and bathing her in more love than she has ever known. There is nothing like intimate devotion in Love’s pure light.

We pray it blesses you!

NOTE: If you’re wondering why I’ve shared this silk letter, I explain on my personal blog in a post called God Speaking Through Silk why I began sharing these on my personal blog. Later, I felt led to share some on the Dyed4you Ministries blog as well. So I share some here and some there (you can find the ones there in the silk words category). To find out more about the words we birth – including how they are created and what is typically included – visit our About Our Silk Letters and Art Words page.

And though I don’t post these for the purpose of selling them, I know sometimes one will just grab you and you KNOW you’re supposed to have it. If that’s the case you can check on Dyed4you Readymade to see if I have one completed already or you can see what types of products I offer and request I make you one in this style.

    1. Amen, amen, and thank you!!! This was a fun one 🙂 It was neat to see how all the pieces came together. A couple pieces had me really pressing in because I wasn’t sure what He was saying with them, but when it was all done it was like {exhale} “yes” 🙂

      Love you mucho!!!

  3. Absolutely beautiful. I was so drawn to this silk when I saw it on FB. I don’t know how to explain it but i felt the need to soak in His gentleness. The description of the mahogany resonated with me, but the whole piece was what I needed to soak in, His gentle, nurturing love.
    Thank you for sharing.

  4. One of my favorite phrases/ truths in the Word of God and maybe my favorite of all your silks I have seen. And that’s not normally in my favorite color family. Love it!!
