Squeezed, Pressed, and Crushed

Not Defeated” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

If you find yourself feeling squeezed and trampled on, it probably means that God is making grape juice, and He is about to give you a new wineskin that can hold that new wine. However, this is not the time to whine.

If you are feeling pressed and crushed, God is probably pressing out new oil for your lamp. Submit to the process. It’s OK to say “Ouch!” a lot in between the shouts of “Praise the Lord! Thank you, Jesus!” Continue reading “Squeezed, Pressed, and Crushed”

Spring of Hope

“Sun of Righteousness” by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

John 4:13-14 (NKJV) Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

There is a saying that goes, “Hope springs eternal.” As someone who battled the darkness of depression for over ten years, I once struggled to believe that such a thing was true. Anyone who has faced depression knows that hopelessness is a key component in that battle. Wounds of the past can cast such shadows on our path, that it can be hard to imagine and hope for better experiences in life. Continue reading “Spring of Hope”

Journey of Destiny

God of Compassion (El Rachum) by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Exodus 40:36(VOICE) Through all their wanderings in the desert, whenever the cloud lifted up from the congregation tent, the Israelites would break camp and set out.

Psalm 56:8(TPT) You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle—not one will be lost. For they are all recorded in your book of remembrance.

There are times when things may hit us unexpectedly. Something may come out of the blue–throwing us off completely. We may immediately begin to search inwardly thinking we have done something wrong in order for THIS to happen. Unexpected life changes can have a way of feeling like a hard blow to the gut– leaving us feeling like the wind is knocked out of us. Even in THIS, Papa reminds us He is NEVER caught off-guard and He IS with us. Continue reading “Journey of Destiny”

Let Go

Beloved, you are so precious to me. Let go of your self-criticism and trust the good I am unfolding in your life. You are perfectly situated to receive messages of this moment… just quiet your mind enough to hear them.

You have spent a lot of time playing the “Martha” role lately. Make space for a season of “Mary.” Receive that blessing and you will find you genuinely have more to give. Cherish and guard that precious time as closely as you would your most prized possession.

Answer the invitation of your soul to meet in stillness. You hear it calling… notice how habits and things that feel urgent fill your time and leave little space for what is most important. Are you ready to let go of your compulsion to manage details and make space to breathe in the inspiration I have for you?

My timing is perfect, dear one. All is well. Letting go of a sense of duty or control, imagine what action flowing from inspired listening will look like.

I Am with You

I have said I go with you, before you and am your rear guard. What or who should you fear?  No one or no thing. For I am always with you,  I do not leave you and I never will. I know others have hurt you and left but I Am and I do not turn away from my children. I gave you the Authority, same one Jesus had while walking on this Earth. Do not allow any fear or intimidation to come over you!  You are mine child and I stand by you and I fight for you.  I will protect my own as a natural parent protects their own child and even in nature animals protect their own.  Why do you not think that I will protect you any less than animals or humans, I will shield you.   Continue reading “I Am with You”

The Battlefield

The battle is fierce.  I look around and see all who have fallen, my heart melts with fear.  I hear Your voice on the battlefield telling us to be encouraged, to keep our eyes fixed on You.  You raise your gold shield to defend that which is Yours.  I run closer to You when something catches my attention.  I look away from You for just a second and I am pierced by an arrow of the enemy and I fall to the ground.  I try to get on my feet only to I fall back to the earth.  You look over Your shoulder and tell me, “Child, get back up!”  Again, I try to rise but the pain and the fear are unbearable.  I sink into back to the ground and sob, “I’m sorry Lord. I can’t.”  Continue reading “The Battlefield”

Let My Voice Roar Through You

Matthew 10:27 (NKJV) Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.

Beloved, you are one who continually sits at My feet. You eat from My hand and are eager to soak in every word that I say. As a result, you know My voice. Even more, your persistence in maintaining intimacy with Me means that you know My heart. The result of your intimacy and choice to seek Me above all else means that My voice now bubbles up from within you continually. I have rubbed off on you and there is no turning back, My love! Continue reading “Let My Voice Roar Through You”

First Love

Beloved, I remember when you would not so much as take a step without asking Me if you were supposed to. Nothing shook your walk with Me. You were steadfast – immovable. I long for more of those days. I long for your first love, but something has shifted. I am the same yesterday, today, and forever. I have not changed or moved. My heart toward you has not changed. I am ever with you, and I will never forsake you. I have blessed you and bestowed spiritual gifts on you. I have remained the same.  Continue reading “First Love”

Hinds’ Feet on High Places

{vision} You are getting ready to ascend the hill of the LORD. He has you in a place that is safe where you can learn from Him and grow in Him. He will be inviting you to go along the journey upwards when the time is right and you are ready. There are many stops to make along the ascent—a meadow, a stream, a wildflower patch, and even a dry area. All of the stops have a lesson for you to learn before you move along. He will guide you, strengthen you, and be with you always as He has said in His word (Matthew 28:20). Continue reading “Hinds’ Feet on High Places”
