Making a Place for God

Humble Ascension” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

There is a Jewish teaching that speaks of how, in the beginning, God filled all things. In order to begin the process of creation, He had to “contract” Himself to make space for the universe. This is why one of God’s names is “Ha-Makom” or “The Place,” as God is the place of all creation. This concept has always made me think of how women “make space” within themselves for the conception and growth of new life. Continue reading “Making a Place for God”

In the Form of Christ

One Body (Unity in Christ)” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

{vision} I saw different American Olympic athletes posing as if for a photoshoot meant to display their new team uniforms. What stood out to me was that, although the athletes had different types of uniforms based on their sport, all of the uniforms used the same set of colors. (Royal blue was the predominant color.) The consistency of the color is what would make it clear to others that they were all on the same team. Continue reading “In the Form of Christ”

Run the Race (Philippians 3:12-16)

This is a series of Prophetic Nuggets from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams that are connected by scripture / theme. It is a series of four Prophetic Nuggets based on Running the Race (Philippians 3).

Philippians 3:12-16 (TPT) I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose that Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover. I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead. I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus. So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them. And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion.

The first Prophetic Nugget is called “Run with Persistence.

Philippians 3:12 (TPT) I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose that Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover.

Beloved, run the race with passion. Anything worth doing is worth doing well. And yet as you seek excellence, extend grace to yourself when you fall short. Far better to dust yourself off and move forward, than to get waylaid by frustration and condemnation.

It is by grace that you are saved, and for love you give your best. Celebrate each step along the way, for the trials and the victories all serve a purpose. So run the race with excellence, but even more so, run with persistence.

The second Prophetic Nugget is called “Steadfastly Onward.”

Philippians 3:13 (TPT) I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead.

Beloved, remember that you do not run alone. I AM YHVH Shammah – the Lord is present, and I AM with you through it all. Resist the urge to rely on your own strength, and instead lean on Me. For I AM fully able to support you through every test and trial.

Keep your eyes fixed on Me, and your focus on what’s ahead. Refuse to be distracted by disappointments or the things of old. Instead move steadfastly onward as you walk hand-in-hand with Me. Trust Me to guide and uphold you as you remain focused on the path ahead.

The third Prophetic Nugget is called “Intentional Focus.

Philippians 3:14 (TPT) I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.

Beloved, be singularly focused on your eternal prize. For as you focus on that destination, your journey will align to the best path. Refuse to be distracted by obstacles that seem to hinder your way. For what you focus on, you make room for. So be intentional to focus on the goal ahead rather than that which will lead you astray.

As the eyes of your heart stay fixed, your footsteps will not wander. So may your journey be steady and steadfast, and may your gaze be ever true.

The fourth Prophetic Nugget is called “Simply Walk.”

Philippians 3:15-16 (TPT) So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them. And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion.

Beloved, the steadfastness of your purpose marks your maturity. For a child’s attention is constantly fluttering from one experiential feast to the next, but the one who has grown and learned life’s lessons knows it is often the things most easily overlooked that benefit from our attention.

Yield your plans to Me and continue on with purpose. Remember your walk with Me is more like a marathon than a sprint. Though your zeal may entice you to do and see and experience everything at once, therein lies the way to burnout. Rather be steady and yield the pace to Me. Allowing Me to bring each revelation and experience in exactly the right moment. So be steadfast, beloved, and simply walk with Me in love.

Time is at Hand

Faithful and True by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Listen closely, and know time is at hand. Spend your time on things that are of eternal value. Live in-filled with My Holy Spirit. Stay sober-minded and alert. Remember the time you spend with Me counts for eternity, so be aware of how much time you are giving to Me. Spend your time focusing on the essence of who I am. Stir up your faith by reminding yourself that with Me the impossible is possible.  My timing may be different from time as you perceive it, but choose to trust Me and focus on Me. As you do, you’ll see My hand at work and be reminded I work all things for My glory and for the good of the Kingdom.   Continue reading “Time is at Hand”

Let Peace Be Your Guard

Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Notice what “the peace of God” does for you. It will “guard” your mind. From what? Acting impulsively, acting selfishly, or acting maliciously. Acting in any way that will result in loss rather than gain – and regret rather than joy.  Continue reading “Let Peace Be Your Guard”

One Layer at a Time

In my desire to always have a heart of repentance, my constant prayer to be cleansed, my cry to be transformed more into Jesus’ image, and by my intentional choice to remain watchful of how I live and represent my God – even in doing all that, I may come upon something that rears its head. Something that I thought was out of the way – healed and dealt with. Another layer of my soul has revealed something that is still present from events of the past that are in need of attention. As I bring these things to the Lord, He is faithful to continue to work on these layers of my inner being. He’s ever so careful and gentle in dealing with me one layer at a time. Continue reading “One Layer at a Time”

Childlike Joy

Matthew 18:3 (NIV) And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Children blindly trust their parents and are happy and full of joy when they’re simply hugged, kissed or are just near them. They don’t have any worldly worries or concerns because they know that their parents will take care of everything. Continue reading “Childlike Joy”

My Spirit is Your Provision

His Eye in on the Sparrow by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Beloved one, I have called you away from your old life and have led you into new territory. You have crossed over into a time of inheriting My promises. Resist the urge to feel shame over your weaknesses or to feel overwhelmed by this new territory. For you have not crossed over alone; I have pledged Myself to you as a husband and will walk by your side all your days. I will be your strength and sufficiency as you navigate this new terrain. Recreated by His Word

“Grace Full Transformation” by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you art

Psalm 33:6, 9 (NKJV) By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. … For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

To read the first chapter of the book of Genesis, I never cease to be in awe of how God brought about creation through the breath of His mouth. What He spoke came forth into existence just as He envisioned. And what began in chaos and void, was shaped and filled into a thing of beauty. Creation is God’s canvas and the very the manifestation of His thoughts. But have you ever considered how creation is still responding to God’s words? Even more, have you ever considered how you and I are being created—or recreated—by the words that God speaks? Continue reading “Recreated by His Word”

Have Faith in My Path

Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

When I set you on a path, beloved, remember that I am there with you to see My plans through. All that is required on your part is to walk in the power of your faith in Me. At times, you may find the journey to be difficult because you cannot see all the details of My plan. I have given you the destination, yet I alone know all the twists and turns in your journey. Walk along this course being certain that you will see My goodness. I urge you to yield your expectations over the details to Me. Instead, adopt an attitude of childlike wonder over this adventure. By doing so, you will be able to maintain your peace and security in Me. Continue reading “Have Faith in My Path”
