Christ’s Sufficiency

“Emboldened by the Sustaining Source” – by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

Philippians 4:13 (AMP) I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]

True self-confidence isn’t a matter of full reliance in our own strength and abilities. We find confidence when our identities are properly rooted in Christ. We become like trees that are planted by rivers of water. While we are called to stand, we are not expected to do so completely in own strength; we must draw from the Sustaining Source of all life. Seasons of heat force us to stretch our roots deep to find the Word and promises of God when they seem hardest to find. We are strengthened by God’s faithfulness and upheld by His flawless character. Yielded Vessels

I keep hearing the Father say to just be yielded vessels to Me and for Me. Allow Me to work in and through you, allow Me access to all places. Those places that you might wall off or shut down to others, allow Me access so I can bring in My rush of healing, love, and provision. I will remove all doubt and fear. And like the verse says, “I can do all things through Christ” (Philippians 3:14). You can do all things and have boldness, courage, and strength to do anything that I have indeed called you to.   Continue reading “Yielded Vessels”

I Never Forget

Isaiah 49:15 (NKJV) “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.

I have not forgotten what I have spoken over you, beloved. When I make a promise, I keep it. When I make a plan for your life, I am faithful to see it through to completion. My words are Spirit and they are life, and they never return to Me void. Therefore, trust in Me to fulfill the promises I have spoken. Resist the urge to doubt or think that I have lost sight of the plan for your life. Continue reading “I Never Forget”

Steadfast Purpose

Philippians 1:9 (NLT) I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding.

Beloved, see as I see, and love as I love. Look to the heart of every matter, and be open to understand the spiritual factors at play. Move with intention and purpose, allowing My Spirit to lead. Then watch as you grow and change, even as you effect the world around you for Me.

Be still and know that I AM God. Part of that knowing is understanding what is, what was, and what is to come. Refuse to be sidetracked from steadily progressing My Kingdom by the cares of today. For what comes tomorrow must have its foundation set today. So be steadfast in purpose, and win those around you by your love.

Cover in Love

Philippians 2:2 (TPT) So I’m asking you, my friends, that you be joined together in perfect unity—with one heart, one passion, and united in one love. Walk together with one harmonious purpose and you will fill my heart with unbounded joy.

Beloved, extend grace to those around you remembering the times you yourself have needed it extended to you. Respond to offense with mercy, respond to anger with love, and respond to pride with humility.

When faced with unkindness, refuse to respond in like manner. Demonstrate your godly character through your grace and steadfastly loving responses. Remember that their words and behaviors are representative of who they are rather than who you are. Cover them in love and pray for them.

Unleash Your Passion

Philippians 2:13 (TPT) God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him.

Beloved, trust that I have equipped you for every task you’re given. I will not send you out unprepared, and I AM always with you – refreshing and revitalizing you. I have given you all you need.

Focus your passion and complete that which has been set before you. For I give you not just the strength and ability to succeed, but the passion and drive to do so. Unleash your passion and do that which is pleasing to Me. Focus your attentions on the Kingdom and My glory, and let your zeal be contagious and unfaltering.

Support My Plans

Philippians 2:4 (TPT) Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests.

Beloved, refuse to allow pride and self-interest to direct your actions. Intentionally choose to focus on others, seek to build them up and support the plans I have for them trusting that I will see to yours. Keep your eyes fixed on Me and My vision – support that in your words and actions, building up those around you in their faith even as I build your own.

I AM mindful of your every need. You are seen by Me. Nothing that concerns you is beyond My notice. So fix your attentions on where I have you now rather than where you want to be, trusting Me to lead and direct you in each step in My perfect timing.

Look Beyond Yourself

Proverbs 6:16-19 (VOICE) Take note, there are six things the Eternal hates; no, make it seven He abhors: Eyes that look down on others…

Beloved, I have called you to walk in humility, not to be self-focused, but rather to put others first, and to be more conscious of their importance than that of your own. Raise your eyes. Refuse to be fixated on self. Look beyond yourself, not in a neglectful way or considering yourself of no value, but rather confident in the understanding that I AM infinitely mindful of you and your needs, and that I will take care of you as you look to others. Replace Worry with Prayer and Thanksgiving

Philippians 4:6 (NLT) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Beloved, I AM in control. You don’t need to fret or worry. Release any fear and rest in your trust of Me. Allow My love to draw you back, deeper into Me, and My peace to quiet your soul, while you press in for more of Me.

Keep turning your heart and mind back to Me as the cares of the world seek to distract your gaze. Only My love satisfies. Only My peace brings true rest. So with your mouth declare My goodness, and with your words share the things on your heart, and trust Me – the lover of your soul – to see to each need and concern. Cast your cares on Me and let your heart overflow with gratitude and thanksgiving fall from your lips without end.

Joyful Expectations

Philippians 1:4 (NLT) Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy,

Beloved, be not influenced by the ebb and flow of the circumstances around you, but rather stay firmly rooted in Me and the joy found in My presence. With hope-filled persistence, bring your petitions to Me, trusting Me to hear and respond in My great wisdom (which may or may not align with your request).

I AM always good. I always hear you. Refuse to be discouraged or to allow bitterness to take root. Remain in joyful expectation, trusting fully in Me. Allow your steadfast trust to set the spiritual climate surrounding you, shifting others into that space rather than allow people or circumstances to pull you from it. Stay faithful and persistent, and wait on Me.
