Obedient Devotion

Proverbs 1:7 (TPT) How then does a man gain the essence of wisdom? We cross the threshold of true knowledge when we live in obedient devotion to God. Stubborn know-it-alls will never stop to do this, for they scorn true wisdom and knowledge.

Beloved, live in obedient devotion to Me. Comb through My Word, and discover what true obedience looks like, then walk in it. Resist the urge to dismiss that which you don’t understand. Instead inquire of My Holy Spirit for clarity, and truly learn of Me.

Embrace wisdom, for true wisdom comes from Me. Remember My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are My ways your ways. Expect the unexpected, and trust My ability to lead as you seek to humbly submit. That, beloved, is the essence of wisdom. Continue reading “Obedient Devotion”

Step Out of the Boat

Matthew 14:27 (TPT) Then Jesus said, “Be brave and don’t be afraid. I am here!”

Beloved, resist the urge to succumb to fear, for I AM always with you. Shore up your courage, and trust in Me. Take My hand and step out of the boat – step out of your safe and familiar circumstances, and trust that though you walk into the unknown (and sometimes even seemingly impossible), I AM strengthening you with My right hand of power.

I have you in My grip and will never let you go. Keep your eyes on Me, and move ahead. Withstand the onslaught of fear, and refuse to cower in the face of challenges. Persevere with Holy Spirit empowered strength, and step into all I have for you. Behold I AM calling, beloved. Step out of the boat. Continue reading “Step Out of the Boat”

Be Bold in the Holy Spirit

Acts 4:13 (TPT) The council members were astonished as they witnessed the bold courage of Peter and John, especially when they discovered that they were just ordinary men who had never had religious training. Then they began to understand the effect Jesus had on them simply by spending time with him.

Beloved, boldness doesn’t have to come from training or education. Boldness can come from firm and unwavering belief. True faith doesn’t come from unquestionable physical evidence, for where would faith be in simple fact? To exercise faith is to be confident in what is understood through less tangible means.

So rather than waiting for irrefutable evidence or certain levels of education, instead allow yourself to be bold in the Holy Spirit. Allow Me to lead and direct you – often in ways you’d never expect, and see how I move in and through you for My glory. That, beloved, is true faith – being wholly yielded to Me. Christ’s Sufficiency

“Emboldened by the Sustaining Source” – by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

Philippians 4:13 (AMP) I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]

True self-confidence isn’t a matter of full reliance in our own strength and abilities. We find confidence when our identities are properly rooted in Christ. We become like trees that are planted by rivers of water. While we are called to stand, we are not expected to do so completely in own strength; we must draw from the Sustaining Source of all life. Seasons of heat force us to stretch our roots deep to find the Word and promises of God when they seem hardest to find. We are strengthened by God’s faithfulness and upheld by His flawless character. Yielding to the Flow

John 3:8 (TPT) For the Spirit-wind blows as it chooses. You can hear its sound, but you don’t know where it came from or where it’s going. So it is within the hearts of those who are Spirit-born!”

Once I was in a prayer circle and the Father gave me an interesting vision about how the wind of His Spirit desires to move in the Body of Christ. As we stood praying, I saw a field of wheat and saw the Spirit-wind blowing through the stalks. As much as I saw it, I also sensed each one of us in that prayer circle was a stalk of wheat. In the natural, I sensed a slight resistance to the movement of the Spirit-wind, individually and corporately. The wind was blowing gently, and yet the Father reflected that our resistance in the flesh stemmed from fear.  Continue reading “Yielding to the Flow”

Worth the Price

Isaiah 53:5 (VOICE) But he was hurt because of us; he suffered so. Our wrongdoing wounded and crushed him. He endured the breaking that made us whole. The injuries he suffered became our healing.

By design, I operate in the gift of mercy. However, I admit that the person I find it hardest to have mercy on is myself. Other than God, I alone know the depth of my sin. I know my record. I cringe when I see that the thoughts of my heart do not align with the heart of God. Unfortunately, harboring unforgiveness and contempt towards myself is a practiced behavior. Reign of the Eternal

“Forever Bloom” – by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

1 John 4:13 (VOICE) How can we be sure that He truly lives in us and that we truly live in Him? By one fact: He has given us His Spirit.

In a vision, I saw the Father shaking a sunflower over His child. Water droplets fell from the sunflower and upon the childlike rain. I sensed that the essence of the sunflower was transferred into the water. Therefore, it was clear that the essence of the sunflower would saturate the child that the Father was sprinkling. Receive the Pure Revelation

Colossians 1:9-12 (MSG) …we haven’t stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works…

Beloved, attune yourself to Me, and hear the voice of heaven. Press in for My sweet voice, and settle for no substitute. Receive My divine wisdom, and then open your mouth and release it in the earth.

Be a funnel – a yielded vessel – for Me to pour through as I deposit My revelation and watch as it pours through. Listen for the sound. Listen for My voice. Receive the pure revelation from My throne. Then reflect Me well – do so accurately, that others might know Me too.  Continue reading “Receive the Pure Revelation”

Be Saturated

Isaiah 58:11 (VOICE) The Eternal One will never leave you; He will lead you in the way that you should go. When you feel dried up and worthless, God will nourish you and give you strength. And you will grow like a garden lovingly tended; you will be like a spring whose water never runs out.

Beloved, let My love wash over you and soothe the broken, dry places. Be saturated in My presence – no longer dry and brittle, but supple and flexible. I AM the potter and you are the clay. When clay becomes dry and difficult to work with, water makes it pliable and easy to mold.

So be saturated by My Spirit. Become fully yielded in My hands. In the same way dried clay can be broken, but supple, wet clay simply adapts and changes shape, so I have created you to flourish regardless of what comes your way. Saturate yourself in Me, and be whole. Continue reading “Be Saturated”

Embrace the Things of Heaven

Proverbs 3:5 (VOICE) Place your trust in the Eternal; rely on Him completely; never depend upon your own ideas and inventions.

Beloved, spread wide your arms and trust in Me. Take your hands off your circumstances and throw your head back and give praise to the One who is worthy. Know that I have you covered, so release it all to Me.

I AM all you need. Let Me lift you in My love, and strengthen you by My Spirit. Let me give you true vision, for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear can see and know the things not of the earthly realm. Embrace the things of heaven, and trust in Me.
