Rally to Me

Isaiah 5:26 (GW) The Lord raises up a flag for the nations far away. With a whistle he signals those at the ends of the earth. Look, they are coming very quickly!

Beloved, come when I rally My people.  Be sure to heed My call. Come quickly. Respond in haste – as one sensitive to My lead. For when I unite hearts for My purpose, heaven and earth are moved, atmospheres are changed, and the hearts of men respond in love and truth.

So come forth out of depression and sorrow, and step forth into the battle for victory. Rejoice and be glad as you stand in faith prepared to move. I AM that I AM – the Lord of Hosts is My name. Rally to Me.  Continue reading “Rally to Me”

Ride Forth

Revelation 19:14-15 (AMP) And the armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, [dazzling] white and clean, followed Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword (His word) with which He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He will tread the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty [in judgment of the rebellious world].

There is a call from heaven to don our linen robes, climb upon our horses, and ride into war with our King. But what does Kingdom warfare truly look like? In Scripture, we see a foreshadowing of Christ through the mighty warrior King David. David drew all of his strength from God alone. God preserved David in good times and in bad and ultimately empowered David to unify the Kingdom of Israel. David had perpetual victory in battle due to his strong connection with the King of Kings. Knowing When to Save Your Breath

Proverbs 23:9 (VOICE) Do not waste your wisdom on a fool, for he doesn’t care for anything you have to say.

Beloved, sometimes walking in humility looks like knowing when to save your breath rather than wasting wise counsel on one who will not listen. Pride will urge you on so that later you may say, “I told you so,” but there is no benefit in doing so.

Instead humbly hold your counsel, and pray that their eyes might be opened. Be moved with compassion knowing that there have been times when you yourself have been the fool. So be grateful that day is past, and pray for theirs to pass quickly too. Continue reading “Knowing When to Save Your Breath”

Unrelenting Heartfelt Pursuit

Psalm 63:1 (TPT) O God of my life, I’m lovesick for you in this weary wilderness. I thirst with the deepest longings to love you more, with cravings in my heart that can’t be described. Such yearning grips my soul for you, my God!

Beloved, be tenacious in your pursuit of Me. Be relentless in the chase. Have no worries, I’ll most certainly allow Myself to be caught, but I enjoy the efforts put forth in the pursuit.

So let your actions declare Me worthy of the efforts. Let your actions align with the words recited in song. Saying I AM worthy isn’t enough, beloved, show those sentiments to be true through your actions: unrelenting heartfelt pursuit.  Continue reading “Unrelenting Heartfelt Pursuit”

El Elyon (God Most High)

Hosea 11:10 (AMP) They will walk after the Lord [in obedience and worship], Who will roar like a lion; He will roar [summoning them] And His sons will come trembling from the west.

Beloved, walk in obedience and utter devotion, for you know not the strength we operate in when we move together as one. Trust in Me and trust in My plans, for we are fearsome in unity of purpose as we watch My Word unfold.

See Me as I AM – high and lifted up, One worthy of reverence and praise. Hear My voice, beloved – roaring like the fiercest lion, and tremble in awe and the majesty of My presence. I AM Lord of all, El Elyon – God Most High. Continue reading “El Elyon (God Most High)”

Waiting for Dawn

Psalm 30:5 (VOICE) …The deepest pains may linger through the night, but joy greets the soul with the smile of morning.

Beloved, remember that morning always comes. The night may seem dark and endless, but eventually, without fail, it gives way to the new day.

Stand on that promise, and know that I AM always with you – in darkness and day. You are never abandoned. Resist the urge to ask fruitless questions or make accusations, and instead stand fast and hold My hand as you wait for dawn to come.  Continue reading “Waiting for Dawn”

El Qanna (Jealous God)

Exodus 34:14 (VOICE) because you must not worship any god except for Me. My name is Jealous, and I am a jealous God.

Beloved, I do not compromise and I will not share. You are Mine, and your fidelity – your steadfast devotion to Me and Me alone – is of the utmost importance to Me. I AM the Lord your God. I will not share you with another.

To one who loves Me this fierce possession feels like the most ardent embrace. It is not burdensome or overwhelming. In the same way a husband demands purity and constancy from his wife, and a wife who adores her husband freely gives this burdenless commitment, so those who are passionate about Me will not hesitate to remain steadfast and singleminded in their love for Me. It is their joy to give so priceless a gift to One whom they adore.

But to those who claim devotion but who are burdened by My just claim to their heart, they must reevaluate to see if they truly have given it to Me. As I have said, I wish that you were hot or cold, but the lukewarm I will spew out of My mouth. So check your heart, beloved. Choose one side or the other. And if you’ve chosen Mine, embrace the fullness of My jealous love, for I AM El Qanna, the Jealous God. Continue reading “El Qanna (Jealous God)”

Look Ahead

Revelation 21:4 (AMPC) God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away.

Beloved, resist the urge to get swept up in the cares and pains of this world. Remember that your time on earth is like the blink of an eye, while My Kingdom is everlasting. Sorrow may last for a night, but remember to embrace the joy of the new day – for it always comes.

The griefs and trials of today will pass, so be intentional to look ahead and align with eternity. Grieve, but don’t be overcome with grief. Trust My heart. Trust My plan. Allow My Spirit to comfort and encourage you. Rest in Me. Rely on Me. Hide yourself in Me. And look ahead. Continue reading “Look Ahead”

To Love and Fear God

“No Other Gods” – by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Deuteronomy 10:12 (VOICE) And now, Israel, what is the Eternal your God asking of you? Only that you fear Him, live as He wants you to, and love Him; serve Him with every part of you, heart and soul;

For much of my faith journey, I have struggled to understand how a believer can both fear and love God. It always seemed that fear and love were an antithesis to one another. Through many preachers I had been told that God had the right to wipe me from existence for any one of my sins. How could I love and get close to someone who had the power to take my life? Be Moved by Gratitude

Ephesians 5:10 (AMP) trying to learn [by experience] what is pleasing to the Lord [and letting your lifestyles be examples of what is most acceptable to Him–your behavior expressing gratitude to God for your salvation].

Beloved, one who is moved with true gratitude acts accordingly. Gratitude shifts your heart. It demands action. It moves you. One who gives lip service to thanksgiving but who’s actions and heart remain the same is not truly grateful.

So check your heart, beloved. If you are truly moved with gratitude by My salvation and My love, how has it changed you and how are you reflecting that change to Me?

Let your gratitude overflow in a life spent giving glory and honor to Me. Knowing how to please Me is no great mystery, for I’ve made My heart plain in My Word. So know Me and know My heart, and offer up thanksgiving in a life filled with obedience and praise from a joyful, grateful heart. Continue reading “Be Moved by Gratitude”
