Beyond Measure

Psalm 46:10 (NASB) Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

Beloved, cease striving. You don’t need to earn My love. It is freely given; and it is given in more abundance than you could begin to imagine. So freely receive, knowing that I love you beyond measure. My heart is steadfast toward you. My love is everlasting.

So function from a place of acceptance – knowing My love is yours. Nothing you do can earn more of My love, nor can any mistake cause you to lose it. I’m not fickle, nor am I easily distracted. My gaze is on you. My heart is fixed on you. So be saturated in My immeasurable love, and from that place be transformed. Continue reading “Beyond Measure”

Field Vision

Close my eyes and see a vision of a field, peaceful green field. In it is a huge towering tree and nearby is a creek winding its way around the out skirts of the field.  I see children in the field, mostly young girls at the age of 5-7 years old.

One is running and playing with the tall blades of grass as she freely runs and dances with the twirling of her little skirt and playing with the tall grass with her fingers.  Another is bending down exploring a huge caterpillar and wondering where its home is and captured by the need to watch it to move along.  She is unaware of anything else but exploring and admiring this little creature. My Masterpiece

I awake in the middle of the night to the sound of my Father’s pottery wheel.  I leave my bed and follow the sound to His workshop.  The smell of water and clay is a sweet aroma.  I see Him at the wheel praying over a piece of clay.  I walk over and watch His hands.  His hands are large and covered in clay and water.  He looks at me and smiles.  I ask Him what He is doing and He says, “Making a masterpiece.”  I watch as His hands work the clay and I begin to witness the making of a masterpiece.  He slowly forms the clay from the bottom up, never rushing.  With great care the vessel starts to form.  I watch as He removes pieces that will hinder the use of the vessel.  He begins to sing over the clay, “I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  You will be my masterpiece.”  Before I know it, I’m singing with Him.  As we sing, the vessel takes a beautiful shape and He delights in my excitement at the work of His hands.   Continue reading “My Masterpiece”

Live from a Place of Love

John 15:18 (AMP) If the world hates you [and it does], know that it has hated Me before it hated you.

Beloved, when people reject you for your faith, remember they rejected me too. Their rejection is no reflection of your worth, but rather a reflection of their heart. So resist the urge to dwell in a place of hurt, and instead respond in love and understanding.

Pray for the hearts of those who hurt and reject you. In doing so, you reflect My character and show My hand in your life. Live from a place of love, and trust that My love will heal any of your wounds.

Penetrating Love

Psalm 4:6 (VOICE) Crowds of disheartened people ask, “Who can show us what is good?” Let Your brilliant face shine upon us, O Eternal One, that we may know the undeniable answer.

Beloved, feel the warmth of My love shining on you, and allow its fervency to mark you. Let it change your innermost being. Let it keep you from moments of discouragement and despair. For I AM good and I love My children.

See Me as I AM, and know My heart toward you intimately. I don’t simply love you, I AM love. So receive My love and allow its penetrating intensity to change you to the depths of your soul. For you are Mine, beloved. I have accepted you.

Dwell in My Beauty

Psalm 27:4 (VOICE) I am pleading with the Eternal for this one thing, my soul’s desire: To live with Him all of my days— in the shadow of His temple, To behold His beauty and ponder His ways in the company of His people.

Beloved, embrace the sweet privilege of unhindered access to Me. In the same way that you would deeply feel the honor of being invited to spend time with a president or king, even more so with the King of Kings.

Resist the urge to allow the familiarity of unfettered access to breed a devaluing of the gift you’ve been given of intimate relationship with Me. Magnify Me. See Me as I AM. Sit in awe at the depth of love and favor I’ve bestowed upon you. Dwell in My beauty, beloved, and embrace the gift you’ve been given.

One Who Calms the Storms

Psalm 107:29 (TPT) God stilled the storm, calmed the waves, and he hushed the hurricane winds to only a whisper.

Beloved, surely you must know that no storm – physical or natural – is too much for Me to handle. I AM the great I AM, Lord of Hosts, Creator of heaven and earth – nothing is too hard for Me. I AM strong and I AM able. I AM the one who calms the storms.

And you are My child. I take great delight in you and love to cover and protect you. Rest in the fact that I AM for you, I love you and I chose you. I have no desire to hurt or destroy you. Choose to believe that I AM for you and stay under the shelter of My wings. Continue reading “One Who Calms the Storms”

Rest and Know You Are Mine

Psalm 68:6 (NLT) God places the lonely in families…

Beloved, you are not alone. I AM with you and I will never leave you. Though there may be times your earthly family lets you down, I will never leave you or forsake you. I have chosen you and will never let you go.

I hold you close in your times of need, and I send others to be a blessing on My behalf. Beloved, embrace those I put in your life. Allow those divine connections to nurture your spirit and build you up. Allow them to reflect My heart to you and speak life over you. Allow them to clearly reflect back to you the truth of who you are rather than a distorted perception.

But even in these special friendships that are a gift from Me, remember that though they may reflect Me and act on My behalf, they are not Me and cannot act as a replacement. I work through them, but ultimately the love you seek is found in Me.

I know the truth about you and believe it unwaveringly. I know that you are precious, you are worth knowing, and you are worth loving. You are beautiful, cherished, and My heart for you is steadfast. But most of all, I have claimed you and called you My own. So, beloved, rest and know that you are Mine.

Dry and Weary

The path felt so dry and weary. Day after day of battling old thought patterns, feelings of hopelessness, unbelief and grief over dead dreams. Pushing forward trying to dream again but failing to stir up joy, to fan the flame. Seeking the face of God and His comfort. Clinging to His truths while struggling to overcome the embedded lies. Chosen One

Matthew 22:14 (NKJV)  For many are called, but few are chosen.

Choose HIM as HE has chosen you! The calling and anointing on your life is greater than you can see at the moment. Trust HIM to lead you through this journey regardless of how many times you may fall, HIS hand is right there outstretched for you to grab and pull yourself back up! Continue reading “Chosen One”
